Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson born to British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby & Chris Watson in Paris, France. As a young girl of just five years old and moved to Oxfordshire and enrolled in the Dragon School. Emma always had the desire to become a professional actor since she was aged six. She studied at Stagecoach Theatre Arts in Oxford which is an acting academy with part-time courses. As part of a school production and a Stagecoach show, she took the lead at the age 10, and acted. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000) the 2001 adaptation of J.K. Rowling's bestselling British novel was published in 1999. Emma was discovered through Emma's Oxford Theatre instructor. David Heyman, the producer of Harry Potter Harry Potter's Sorcerer's Stone, and Ron Weasley told Emma after the eight auditions that she'd been picked for these roles. Emma was chosen to play alongside Daniel Radcliffe Rupert Grint and Rupert Grint. Emma's first appearance on the big screen was Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone that was released in the year 2001. The film is 2001's top earning film, smashing records on opening day and first weekend. The film has been praised by critics for its film as well as the performance of the three young actors. The Daily Telegraph, a popular British newspaper, was awed by her for her exceptional performance. Emma's performance was recognized and won five awards later for the movie.
