Rosalia
Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is a Spanish flamenco and pop vocalist. As a teenager, she has worked in both the traditional and popular music. However, her music interests have widened to include hip-hop and soul. Her voice has been said by no less an artist than the Flamenco guitar player Pepe Habichuela as sweet and sharp but with a bite like older versions. El Mal Querer, her sequel album to Los Angeles in 2017, was both a critical as well as a commercial hit. The album topped Billboard's Latin Pop Albums Chart and won an Grammy. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd is due out in 2021. Motomami is her 3rd full-length album. The album featured songs written in collaboration with other artists and producers, including Cory Henry. The set was released in the month of March 2022, following performances of the song Chicken Teriyaki on Saturday Night Live. Rosalia performed solo in her first appearance on the show. Motomami was her album which won the three Latin Grammy Awards also made Rosalia the first female singer to receive the Latin Album of the Year award twice.
