Maggie Grace and Maggie Gyllenhaal

Maggie Grace was born Margaret Grace Denig, September 21 1982. She is an American actor best known for her character Shannon Rutherford in ABC TV series Lost. After the divorce of her parents, she left Worthington, Ohio to live at Los Angeles. While struggling financially she landed her first role as Rachel's Room's main character the video on-demand series Rachel's Room in 2001. In the following year, she was awarded a Young Artist Award nomination in 2002 with her portrayal of 15-year-old murder victim Martha Moxley in the television film Murder which aired in Greenwich. In 2004, Grace was selected to portray Shannon Rutherford in the television series Lost where she acted as a principal character for the initial two seasons winning an Screen Actors Guild Award shared by the entire cast. Grace decided to leave the series to focus on her professional film work. The actress had been on the show with Tom Welling opposite in The Fog in 2005. The actress was in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club (both 2007) and also starred alongside Liam Neeson as Kim Mills in Taken in the year 2008. In 2008, she reprised the role Taken 2 (2013) and Taken 3 (2015). The actress also appeared in Alice on Malice in Wonderland which is a modern adaptation of Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace returned to the character as Shannon in two more episodes of Lost which included the finale of the series. In 2013 she appears in the sixth episode of Californication. She plays Faith who's both the star-gazer and a groupie. Hank Moody, played by David Duchovny, falls for her. Maggie Gyllenhaal.........................Margalit Ruth Gyllenhaal ( born November 16 1977) is an American actress and filmmaker. Gyllenhaal is a member of her family and is the elder cousin of Jake Gyllenhaal. Her career began as a teenager with small parts in a few of the films of her father and starred with her brother in the cult favorite Donnie Darko (2001). She then appeared in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind as well as Mona Lisa Smile (both 2002). Gyllenhaal was nominated to win a Golden Globe Award in both the action drama Sherrybaby (2005) and the love story Secretary (2002). Both films were critically acclaimed. After a string of commercially successful films, such as World Trade Center in 2006 her name was recognized more widely when she played Rachel Dawes (the superhero) in The Dark Knight (2007). The year 2009 was the time she was nominated for the award of Best Supporting Actress at the Academy Awards for her portrayal of a single mother as she appeared in Crazy Heart. She subsequently starred in the comedy and dramas Nanny McPhee and The Big Bang (2010) Hysteria (2011) and Will Not Back Down (2012). Other roles she has played includes Secret Service agents in White House Down (2013 Action thriller) and musicians in Frank (2014 Drama The Kindergarten Teacher 2018) as well as the role of the Kindergarten teacher. Gyllenhaal's debut as a filmmaker and writer took place in 2021, with The Lost Daughter, a psycho-drama that won her an award at the Venice International Film Festival Best Screenplay Award. In addition, she was awarded an Academy Award nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay.
